Each Work on Paper begins as an original underwater photograph and is individually developed by hand in my studio through layers of encaustic wax, oils, pastels, pigments, and other mixed processes. Because every surface is finished by hand, no two works are exactly alike. Subtle variations in color, texture, and surface are an intentional part of the artistic process, making each artwork unique.

Every Work on Paper is individually printed and developed by hand using layers of encaustic wax, oils, pastels, pigments, and other surface treatments. Product photographs represent the composition and overall character of the artwork; each finished piece possesses its own individual surface, texture, and presence.
