Frequently Asked Questions

A quiet guide for collectors

What do you create?

Original mixed media works born underwater, finished with hand-applied materials, and presented as singular pieces.

Are these originals?

Yes. Each work exists only once, in its own scale and palette.

Do you ever repeat compositions?

Occasionally, an image may call me back.

Each time, it becomes something entirely new - shaped by scale, surface and where I am the work.

No two pieces are ever the same.

Are the materials archival?

Yes. Every element is chosen for longevity and museum-level preservation.

Will the wax melt?

No. Encaustic remains stable in normal home environments and softens only at extreme heat well beyond everyday conditions.

Is heat a concern?

Not in normal settings. Avoid direct, prolonged heat or harsh sun.

How do I care for my artwork?

Dust softly.
No sprays or cleaners.
A lightly damp cloth may be used if needed.

How long will it last?

Encaustic has endured for millennia. With proper placement, your piece will live beautifully for generations.

How is the artwork presented?

Each work is mounted on a custom cradled panel and finished with a refined float frame or painted edges.

Do you offer custom commissions?

Yes, a limited number each year.

Created specifically for your space, your light, and your presence.

Do you work on location? Will you come to my pool?

For select commissions, yes. I work in private pools and natural water environments where light, clarity and safety align.

How does a commission unfold?

A conversation.
A reservation
A shared vision.

From there, the work emerges - created entirely with you.

Do you work with interior designers?

Yes. Custom sizing, palettes, and trade accommodations are available.

Do you work with collectors at a distance?

Absolutely. Virtual consultations and scale previews are offered worldwide.

Do you offer payment arrangements?

Payment arrangements are available upon request.

How does shipping work?

Each piece is professionally packed, insured, and handled with exceptional care.

Shipping is invoiced separately following purchase.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International shipping and customs are handled seamlessly.

Are sales final?

Yes. As each piece is unique. If damage occurs during transit, it will be resolve immediately.

Will the artwork match what I see on screen?

Slight variations may occur. In person, the work is often richer, more dimensional, more luminous.

Do you provide a Certificate of Authenticity?

Yes. Every original includes a signed certificate.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes—available for artwork, commissions, and the underwater experience.

Each piece finds its way to where it belongs.
