Saltwater Mythologies

Susan J. Roche’s underwater artworks begin beneath the surface and are developed through layers of encaustic wax, oils, pastels, pigments, and hand-applied texture.

Inspired by sea goddesses, nymphs, and mythological figures, the works explore transformation, memory, movement, and light.
