No. 44 - LIRIA

Liria

River nymph whose song brings the waters to stillness.

In Greek mythology, river nymphs embodied the quiet life of flowing waters. Liria evokes the peaceful moment when the current slows, the surface becomes a mirror, and the world falls silent.

Each Collector Work on Paper begins as an archival pigment print on Canson Infinity Etching Rag and is transformed by hand into an original work through layers of wax, oils, pastels, pigments, and other surface treatments.

No two works are exactly alike. Colors, textures, and finishes evolve throughout the hand-finishing process, creating subtle variations that make every artwork unique. The resulting work possesses a softer, more luminous presence and a depth that cannot be achieved through printing alone.

Each artwork is archivally reverse-mounted using museum conservation methods and presented beneath UV-filtering acrylic in a handcrafted Larson-Juhl Jasper frame.

Exterior dimensions 26.5 by 32.5 inches.
