Calynthe
No. 36 - CALYNTHE
goddess of gentle tides who welcomes souls
Calymythe
Inspired by hidden springs and sacred waters, Calymythe dwells where light filters through quiet depths. She represents mystery, reflection, and the unseen beauty that reveals itself only to those who linger.
.
Each Collector Work on Paper begins as an archival pigment print on Canson Infinity Etching Rag and is transformed by hand into an original work through layers of wax, oils, pastels, pigments, and other surface treatments.
No two works are exactly alike. Colors, textures, and finishes evolve throughout the hand-finishing process, creating subtle variations that make every artwork unique. The resulting work possesses a softer, more luminous presence and a depth that cannot be achieved through printing alone.
Each artwork is archivally reverse-mounted using museum conservation methods and presented beneath UV-filtering acrylic in a handcrafted Larson-Juhl Jasper frame.
Exterior dimensions 26.5 by 32.5 inches.
