No. 28 - Peleteus wraps his arms around Thetus until she loves him
Peleus & Thetis
The mortal king and the sea goddess.
Their legendary union gave rise to Achilles, one of Greek mythology’s greatest heroes. Together they embody the meeting of the human and divine, where love alters the course of history.
Each Collector Work on Paper begins as an archival pigment print on Canson Infinity Etching Rag and is transformed by hand into an original work through layers of wax, oils, pastels, pigments, and other surface treatments.
No two works are exactly alike. Colors, textures, and finishes evolve throughout the hand-finishing process, creating subtle variations that make every artwork unique. The resulting work possesses a softer, more luminous presence and a depth that cannot be achieved through printing alone.
Each artwork is archivally reverse-mounted using museum conservation methods and presented beneath UV-filtering acrylic in a handcrafted Larson-Juhl Jasper frame.
