Inspired by the faithful hound of Greek legend, Argo is a portrait of trust, devotion, and freedom. It honors the enduring bond between human and companion while reflecting the serenity and wonder found beneath the water’s surface.
Each artwork begins as an original underwater photograph before being individually refined by hand with layers of encaustic wax, oils, pastels, and mineral pigments. These hand-applied processes create subtle variations in texture, luminosity, and surface, making every finished work unique.
