Protomeida
Protomeida, sea nymph of the first waters.
From the Saltwater Mythologies series, her form appears through pale currents and veils of light, as if fabric, water, and figure are dissolving into one another.
She carries the feeling of emergence—a moment of softness, origin, and quiet becoming beneath the surface.
Each Collector Work on Paper begins as an archival pigment print on Canson Infinity Etching Rag and is transformed by hand into an original work through layers of wax, oils, pastels, pigments, and other surface treatments.
No two works are exactly alike. Colors, textures, and finishes evolve throughout the hand-finishing process, creating subtle variations that make every artwork unique. The resulting work possesses a softer, more luminous presence and a depth that cannot be achieved through printing alone.
Each artwork is archivally reverse-mounted using museum conservation methods and presented beneath UV-filtering acrylic in a handcrafted Larson-Juhl Jasper frame.
Exterior dimensions 26.5 by 32.5 inches. Each work is produced to order. Please allow additional time for production and delivery.
