Thalira

Thalira

Thalira moves through water like a breath — light unfolding around her.

She carries the feeling of arrival: a presence just forming, just beginning to be seen.

From the Saltwater Mythologies series, her body is held by a soft current, the fabric lifting and dissolving around her.

She becomes a moment of emergence — where light, water, and form meet for the first time.

Each Collector Work on Paper begins as an archival pigment print on Canson Infinity Etching Rag and is transformed by hand into an original work through layers of wax, oils, pastels, pigments, and other surface treatments.

No two works are exactly alike. Colors, textures, and finishes evolve throughout the hand-finishing process, creating subtle variations that make every artwork unique. The resulting work possesses a softer, more luminous presence and a depth that cannot be achieved through printing alone.

Each artwork is archivally reverse-mounted using museum conservation methods and presented beneath UV-filtering acrylic in a handcrafted Larson-Juhl Jasper frame.

Exterior dimensions 26.5 by 32.5 inches. Each work is produced to order. Please allow additional time for production and delivery.
